Newt upsets odds with S.Carolina win

The former House Speaker threw a spanner in the Willard Mitt Romney electoral machine with a double-digit win over the former CEO of Bain Capital. Returns from 57% of the state showed Gingrich on 40 points, Romney on 27, Iowa surprise Santorum on 18 and evergreen libertarian Ron Paul on 13 points. C'mon GOP faithful, just give Willard his cake already. You know he's not going away...

Romney remains undeterred and had these words for those criticizing his work as leader of Bain Capital, where he has been accused of indulging in frowned upon practices such as asset-stripping. "When my opponents attack success and free enterprise, they're not only attacking me, they're attacking every person who dreams of a better future. He's attacking you."

They're not Mitt. Because last time I checked my bank account wasn't getting fat based on buying struggling businesses at dirt cheap prices, then selling it off bit-by-bit for all it's worth whilst sacking all the employees in the process.
